Her practice focuses on poetic visual storytelling and the construction of intimate cinematic worlds. Her practice focuses on poetic visual storytelling and the construction of intimate cinematic worlds. Her work often unfolds as a sequence of sensory impressions rather than linear storytelling, inviting viewers to inhabit transient states of feeling, time, and space. Rooted in personal experience yet open to collective interpretation, her images function as visual diaries that translate inner psychological states into spatial and temporal forms.
Working across moving image, still image, and expanded visual formats, Min reflects on how visual language can hold ambiguity, vulnerability, and emotional resonance. Her practice is driven by an ongoing interest in how emotions shape memory, and how memory, in turn, reshapes perception and senses of belonging.
She received her BFA in Communication Design from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently an MFA student in Visual Narrative at the School of Visual Arts.
