LEFT Behind

A short film about two strangers who find brief connection in a quiet bar while confronting anxiety and loss.

This is a collaborative project by Gustavo Adolfo Gonzalez and myself.
We co-wrote and co-directed the film, and this version features my edit.

Approach

This short film explores the idea that each of us moves through life carrying personal circumstances, worries, and sorrows that often remain unseen unless spoken. even when our encounters with others are brief, they can still offer moments of comfort in an often lonely world. the film was created with the hope that, no matter how lonely or difficult a moment may feel, we continue to do our best in our own place, and that the serendipity we meet along the way becomes a shared wish for connection and hope.
